Stay Tuned...
I know I've been a major slacker lately, but stick with me and I will post some pictures from the trip to Hawaii we just took. It's been crazy busy recently, but I'm trying to get back on track. I love you all!

Hooray for Pictures!!
Sorry it's taken me so long to get pictures up! I think it took about a half hour just to upload all these on my mom's computer, but it worked!! Yay! These are all from right before we left Little Rock and one funny one from the road trip. Enjoy!!Matt and Olivia sharing a lemonade.Somehow they got the straws connected and Matt kept sucking all the air from Olivia's mouth. I don't know if you can tell that her mouth is puckered or not, but it was really funny. My great friend Jeanette came up to help us pack and keep us company and we got a chance to make it to a really cool park. Olivia and her daughter Scout had tons of fun playing together.I can't believe how strong Olivia is - she is a monkey! This was a hilarious contraption that Olivia desperately wanted to play on - I couldn't stop laughing when I was on it.I am proud to say my daughter is officially potty trained. Here is Matt painting her nails as a reward for going in the potty!! Aren't they beautiful? We went to a birthday party for one of Matt's law school friend's kid. It was at Pump It Up, where they have lots of bouncy houses. I got this great pic of Denise jumping. It speaks for itself!Denise and Jake and their new puppy Lillie - one happy little family! P.S. notice the cute bangs on D? Yeah, that's right, I rock.Clearly Olivia loves Lillie. All she wanted all weekend was to be in the cage with Lillie. This one is for Mags. I told you she sleeps with her legs up the wall!Mom, can I do an art project, too?I know it's horrible to take a picture of your kid when they are sad, but I just think she is so cute all the time, even when she is mad that I made her wear the green vest instead of the pink hoodie. And this is the greatest picture. We were in a white out and thought this sign was so ironic. So Deb risked her life for a photo op. You rock.

Promises, Promises....
I know that I promised pictures in this post, and in my defense I made a valiant attempt. I tried to upload pictures using my mom's computer, but it was too slow to get them on to blogger. I will try again tomorrow. At least the pictures are on the computer, so that's a start.
I do have updates, however. My job is going great. I've officially been launched as a new stylist, so that's a good thing. If any of you who are still reading this have friends in the area, send them to see me! I'm going to the mall on Friday to pass out cards and try to gain a clientele a little faster. We'll hope that works.
I also went to a mid-singles game night a couple Fridays ago, by myself. It was great. I made some friends, which was a welcome change. They were nice enough to invite me and Olivia over for dinner and FHE on Easter. We had a blast, actually. It was really nice to sit and chat with people who have been in my situation and know how I feel and what I'm going through.
This last Friday Olivia and I went with Amy (the girl who's house FHE was at) and her son Oliver and her best friend Shaun to see Horton Hears a Who. It was really cute and, again, nice to go out and have some fun. So, all in all, I'm doing pretty well. Don't get me wrong, I still have hard days, but I'm grateful for a job I enjoy, wonderful people that I work with, and the new friends that I've made. There's a singles dance on Friday I'm sure I will go to and I will let all of you know how that goes. I really hope to get those pictures up tomorrow so check back!!

A Glimmer of Hope
Alright, I swear next time I post I will put up pictures. I promise. I just had to post and let everyone know that I got a job! It's very exciting for me. I am working at the salon I worked at when Matt and I first got married. It's called Lorinda's. I am starting as a Signature Designer, which is great. I am so grateful that Lorinda is willing to take all of my education and hard work since I've been gone into consideration for my position.
My interview on Saturday was really funny to me. After she reviewed my application, she asked when I wanted to start working and I said as soon as possible, thinking, "Monday or Tuesday would be great". And she said, "How about today?". So I stayed and worked and did a bang trim with someone else's shears, a pedicure (which requires only salon equipment), and a blowdry with someone else's dryer. It was really fun, actually. I love all the girls I met and it was great to see the few that I worked with before. So, I am now fully employed, which feels great.
On the bad side of things, I have to find a daycare for Olivia. To make matters worse, she threw up last night, so I'm kind of skittish about taking her around town to look for a daycare today. Hopefully it was one of those she-just-threw-up-once-and-it-was-so-weird kind of things. I'll keep you posted on that, too. I'm off to breakfast-fixing.

Seattle
Well, we are officially here in Seattle. Actually, Olivia's been here and I got here Friday, but we unloaded the truck yesterday into a storage unit yesterday. It is sad to me that that is where my stuff will stay for the next year or so, but it's what has to happen right now. I'm sorry for the lack of posts and the lack of pictures. I can't upload anything on my mom's work laptop and the home computer upstairs is slow and I haven't ventured up there to attempt anything. I realize I probably really have nothing but time, but I feel like I have no time most of the time!
So, in an effort to meet people....someone....anyone, I went to institute on Tuesday. Can I just say: B-L-E-A-K? Seriously, not only was everyone in the 18 to just-got-off-my-mission age, there were very few prospects of even friendship - and trust me when I say I am looking for NOTHING more than that right now. Six. That's how many people were at institute, inluding myself: six. And if I had to hear that goober over there say, "When I was on my mission...." one more time, I was about to take the desk I was sitting at monopoly-style and toss it upside down and scream, "I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!!!" Okay, a little dramatic, I realize, but it was truly awful. So, I am back to chillin' with my parents and meeting no one.
I went to a salon and had my hair shampooed as a ploy to see if I like the salon and would be interested in pursuing employment there. It was nice. Of course they're not hiring, but I am going to turn in an application anyway and hope that they will want to hire me based on my credentials. We'll see.
My other debate for the week is whether or not I should go to the Single Adult dance on Friday. Alone. Scary. I really want to meet people my age (I would rather the 30-45 range than the 18-30 range based on Tuesday night's debacle). Clearly, in a family ward, that's not going to happen. I am so frustrated, sad, angry, annoyed, scared that I have to do this again. By myself. Grrrrr. Okay, I'm sorry for the rant. I promise next post will be more positive and will include pictures of Olivia, who by the way, is doing great!! Hopefully, there will be news of a friend by then!

A Fresh Perspective
I am so grateful for all of the love and support that I have received from my family and friends and I want everyone to know that it is through that support that I know Olivia and I will come out on top of this. I have to believe that there are only great things in store for us, if we just do the things that we know we need to. Anyway, without further ado....I give you my new blog!! Basically, it is still just an excuse for me to post more pictures of my fantastically beautiful daughter, but you may get an update or two on us as well!! Thanks again to all of you for helping us through this!
